armitage media was started by British journalist, Tom Armitage. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, armitage media was created to provide first-class editorial content to media and corporate clients.
Tom Armitage worked for Reuters news agency in London, Vienna, Berlin and Zurich. As a freelance journalist, he has written for various U.S., UK and European publications, including The Independent, Variety and Spiegel Online, and done broadcast work for Reuters and Euronews. He regularly features on Swiss television and radio, talking about life in Switzerland. Prior to becoming a journalist, he worked for a U.S. investment bank in Frankfurt.
Tom holds a Masters degree in languages from Cambridge University. He has received training from Reuters and the BBC. Tom speaks French and German in addition to his native English.
